Steering wheel shimmy at speed

0

I cured a terrible shimmy occurring between 45-60mph by adjusting the front wheel bearings on my 73 tii.

The steering wheel vibrated like the wheels were either bent or out of balance. An easy fix that didn’t cost me anything.

Then the shimmy came back after a couple of months (but not as bad). I recently replaced the driveshaft flex coupling because it was cracked in several places.

This helped tame some of the front end shimmy.
